No, this is not sangria. This is Tinto de Verano. Tinto de Verano (tinto = red wine, verano = summer) is a Spanish summer drink based on non-alcoholic red wine and tonic. Refreshing on a scorching hot day. Not for nothing popular in the South of Spain.

Ingredients

Tinto de Verano recipe:

  • 500 ml alcohol-free red wine (chilled) from Sauv'Terre Red
  • 500 ml Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water
  • Garnish: lemon, orange, grapefruit, strawberry

    Let's make this cocktail

    Use a large long drink glass or copa glass with ice

    Fill the glass halfway with the alcohol-free red wine

    Fill the other half of the glass with tonic

  • 4

    Stir with a bar spoon. Garnish with a slice of lemon or orange, but you can also add grapefruit, melon, or strawberries.
