Experience the richness of a classic red wine without the alcohol. Moderato La Cuvée Révolutionnaire Pinot Noir is carefully crafted in the South of France. The wine then ages traditionally in oak barrels to preserve its complex structure.
This wine, with less than 0.5% alcohol, is round and subtle, with an excellent aromatic balance. On the nose, you discover notes of red fruit and a light spiciness. The taste is characterized by typical notes of red fruit, a light vegetal touch, and a spicy finish. The supple tannins ensure a nice length and a pleasant mouthfeel. This healthy choice contains no added sugars and has 7 times fewer calories than traditional wine (only 14 kcal per 100 ml).
The sommelier recommends serving this wine at 18°C in a tulip-shaped red wine glass, or lightly chilled in the summer. The Pinot Noir pairs elegantly with grilled and spiced poultry, roasted seasonal vegetables, or pressed cheeses.
Harold Hamersma:
“Making a delicious red wine without alcohol remains tricky. Sometimes it works. And not infrequently, Pinot Noir is involved, a grape that certainly accommodates the teetotaler Bacchus. In this case, he is served fresh red fruit: berry notes, blue plums, a hint of blackberry, and a light green spiciness.”
