Salad with tomato and burrata
A fresh salad with creamy burrata and juicy tomato, ideal for a light start to your Christmas dinner. The alcohol-free white wine from ME.JS Ohne Kater Pinot Gris adds a fresh twist to this dish with its fruity notes of pear, apple and citrus. Ingredients
- 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1 ball of burrata
- Handful of fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon good quality olive oil
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation method
- Place the tomato slices on two plates and place the burrata in the middle, so that you can cut it later and let it flow over the tomato.
- Drizzle the tomatoes and burrata with olive oil and add a few drops of balsamic vinegar for extra depth. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle the fresh basil leaves over the salad for a fragrant and fresh touch.
