- This Red "not wine", Italian style, has tannins, cherries, liquorice and a woody spiciness to offer
- A fantastic Swedish drink developed together with sommeliers
- Non-alcoholic 0.5%
- Drink it before, with or after food. Fantastic with cheese. Skål!
As Ron Blaauw told the NRC: "What also works, funnily enough - with a piece of meat for example - is the Gnista Italian style'. That is not a wine, but a berry drink from Sweden: sour, rough with clear notes of liquorice, pine and gin. With that it offers body, tannins, fruitiness and aromatic complexity - the same qualities that you also look for in a red wine."
Gastronomy and tradition meet in food technology. Red is NOT a non-alcoholic wine, but it does let you experience the same drinking moment. It is made using similar techniques to their spirits; Barreled Oak and Floral Wormwood. Every ingredient is there for a reason and the aim is to deliver a taste sensation of tannins, body, earth, sharpness, spice and just the perfect (but not too much) sweetness. It is made by hand and in small batches. Serve at around 18°C.
Let's drink to that!
