Aan de voet van de imposante Kasteelberg, midden in het Swartland van Zuid-Afrika, ligt het huis van Klein Kasteelberg. Niet groots en luidruchtig, maar ingetogen en krachtig net als de wijnen die hier vandaan komen. Dit is het hart van de Riebeek Vallei, een streek waar droge bodems, ruige natuur en eeuwenoude wijnbouwtradities samen een ongepolijst terroir vormen.

In het huis van Klein Kasteelberg draait het om authenticiteit. De druiven groeien in harde omstandigheden: veel zon, weinig water, en een bodem die dwingt tot diepgang. En precies dat proef je terug. Hier worden geen wijnen gemaakt om te imponeren, maar om iets echts te vertellen over het land, het klimaat, en de mensen die er werken.

Klein Kasteelberg maakt toegankelijke wijnen met karakter. Wijnen die het glas niet vullen met franje, maar met eerlijkheid. Een frisse Chenin Blanc, een soepele Syrah, een levendige blend, elk met een stijl die uitnodigt tot delen. Aan tafel, op het terras, of gewoon op een doordeweekse avond die iets extra’s mag hebben.
