A delicious fresh alcohol-free white wine, you can smell the flower of the muscat grape. In sunny Bad Bergzabern, located on the German Weinstraße, three winemaker friends – Manfred Vogel, Jürgen Wilker and Stefan Hitziger – joined forces in 2001 under the name MEJS, formed from the initials of their first names. Their shared mission: to produce characterful Palatinate wines that reflect both traditional craftsmanship and modern winegrowing techniques.

With a combined vineyard area of ​​over 200 hectares, they create a wide range of wines, ranging from classic cépages to innovative cuvées. Their range includes the brands Villa Tabernus, Valentin Vogel and Hamecker, which are available both in retail and at specialist wine shops.

A striking innovation from MEJS is the "Ohne Kater" line: a range of award-winning alcohol-free wines that retain the authentic taste of wine, but without the alcohol. This line includes Riesling, Muskateller, Pinot Gris and Cuvée Rot, and has received international recognition, including high ratings from Falstaff.

Sustainability is central to MEJS. The company is certified to the FAIR'N GREEN standard, which underlines their commitment to environmental and social responsibility in wine growing.
