Inspired by his travels around the world, Chris collected every botanical he could find, from the rare Japanese hibiscus to the aromatic English rose. His journey eventually led him back home to the authentic flavours he most associates with London: freshly picked rosemary from his mother’s garden and the bitter oranges in his father’s homemade marmalade. And so Wilfred’s delicious alcohol-free spritz was born.

In het huis van Wilfred’s draait alles om het moment. Het aperitief. Die eerste slok die zegt: “de dag mag even pauze nemen.” Maar waar veel dranken dat moment koppelen aan alcohol, doet Wilfred’s dat juist anders. Zonder concessies. Zonder roes. Met volle smaak.

Wilfred’s werd opgericht door Chris Wilfred Hughes, een Britse ingenieur met een neus voor smaak en een hart voor botanicals. Hij vond de alcoholvrije opties te vlak, te zoet, te saai. Dus hij creëerde iets nieuws: een bitterzoet aperitief met karakter. Gemaakt van bittere sinaasappel, rozemarijn, rabarber en een vleugje kruidnagel. Gebalanceerd, complex en 100% natuurlijk.

In het huis van Wilfred’s wordt niet gekozen voor ‘minder’, maar voor ‘beter’. Het is een plek waar genieten centraal staat, of je nu drinkt of deelt, ontspant of toost. De fles zelf, met zijn stijlvolle art-deco look, verraadt het al: hier drink je met klasse.

De klassieke serveerwijze? Simpel: Wilfred’s, tonic, ijs, en een schijfje sinaasappel. Maar de mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos. Cocktails, mocktails, creatieve mixen, alles begint bij die ene fles vol smaak.
