  • 2 large apples (such as Elstar or Granny Smith), peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 50 grams of flour
  • 30 grams of cold butter, diced
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: a handful of chopped nuts, such as almonds or walnuts
