- 1 ripe avocado
- 100 grams crab meat, fresh or canned (well drained)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped red onion
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander
- Juice and zest of 1/2 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Mango Salsa:
- 1/2 ripe mango, diced
- 1/4 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped (optional)
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander
- Pinch of salt

Preparation of the Avocado-Crab Tartare: Scoop out the flesh from the avocados and place it in a bowl. Roughly mash the avocados with a fork.

Add the crab meat, finely chopped red onion, finely chopped coriander, lime juice, and zest to the bowl.

Gently mix everything together until the ingredients are well combined, and season with salt and pepper.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the avocado-crab tartare for at least 30 minutes to marinate.

Preparation of the Mango Salsa: In another bowl, mix the diced mango, red bell pepper, finely chopped red onion, jalapeño pepper (if using), lime juice, and finely chopped coriander.

Season with salt and stir everything well.

Serving: Divide the avocado-crab tartare into serving bowls, spoon a dollop of mango salsa on top of each portion of avocado-crab tartare, optionally garnish with extra finely chopped coriander or lime slices, and serve immediately and enjoy this delicious and light combination!
