Caprese salad with balsamic glaze Ⓥ
Serves 2 . Sliced fresh tomato, mozzarella and basil leaves, topped with a drizzle of balsamic glaze. A classic summer favourite that is light and flavourful. Pairs well with Acala Rosé sparkling tea .
Ingredients
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 125 grams fresh mozzarella
- A handful of fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparation method
- Preparing the Ingredients: Cut the tomatoes and mozzarella into thin slices.
- Pick the basil leaves from the stems.
- Arranging the Salad: Alternately place tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving platter or on individual plates.
- Adding Basil: Divide the fresh basil leaves over the tomatoes and mozzarella.
