Grilled tuna with fresh bulgur salad
This Grilled Tuna with Fresh Bulgur Salad is a light and tasty meal, perfect for warm days. The tuna is grilled briefly so that it remains beautifully pink on the inside. The salad with bulgur, vegetables and a fresh lemon dressing completes the dish.

Ingredients
- 150 g bulgur
- 2 tuna steaks
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 100 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- Handful of fresh parsley
- Handful of fresh mint
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
Preparation method
- Cook the bulgur according to the instructions on the package. Drain and let cool.
- Cut cucumber, pepper and cherry tomatoes. Mix them with the bulgur.
- Chop parsley and mint. Mix through the bulgur salad.
- Whisk a dressing of lemon juice, zest, olive oil, honey, salt and pepper. Mix through the salad.
- Pat the tuna steaks dry and brush with a little olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a grill pan on high heat. Grill the tuna for 1-2 minutes per side, so that it stays pink on the inside.
- Serve the bulgur salad on plates. Place the grilled tuna on top.
