Fig salad with burrata, parma ham and roasted hazelnuts

This salad combines creamy burrata, sweet figs and salty Parma ham. A classic, elegant mix. Roasted hazelnuts provide a crunchy surprise and the honey-lemon dressing makes it fresh and slightly sweet. Ideal as a main course or light lunch.

Fig salad with burrata, parma ham and roasted hazelnuts

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe figs, halved
  • 1 ball of burrata
  • 4 slices of Parma ham
  • 50 g rocket or mixed lettuce
  • 2 tbsp hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Preparation method

  1. Roast the hazelnuts briefly in a dry frying pan until they smell and are lightly coloured. Let them cool.
  2. Halve the figs and place them on a plate or bowl.
  3. Divide the arugula or mixed lettuce around it.
  4. Tear the Parma ham into pieces and divide over the salad.
  5. Place the burrata ball in the middle and pull it open a little if necessary
  6. Sprinkle the hazelnuts over the salad.
  7. Whisk a dressing of honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Drizzle over the salad.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and some extra pepper to taste.
