Fig salad with burrata, parma ham and roasted hazelnuts
This salad combines creamy burrata, sweet figs and salty Parma ham. A classic, elegant mix. Roasted hazelnuts provide a crunchy surprise and the honey-lemon dressing makes it fresh and slightly sweet. Ideal as a main course or light lunch.

Ingredients
- 6 ripe figs, halved
- 1 ball of burrata
- 4 slices of Parma ham
- 50 g rocket or mixed lettuce
- 2 tbsp hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
- 1 tbsp honey
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Preparation method
- Roast the hazelnuts briefly in a dry frying pan until they smell and are lightly coloured. Let them cool.
- Halve the figs and place them on a plate or bowl.
- Divide the arugula or mixed lettuce around it.
- Tear the Parma ham into pieces and divide over the salad.
- Place the burrata ball in the middle and pull it open a little if necessary
- Sprinkle the hazelnuts over the salad.
- Whisk a dressing of honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Drizzle over the salad.
- Garnish with fresh basil and some extra pepper to taste.
