The Dutch drank almost 800 thousand liters of alcohol-free alternatives last year. With World of NIX, Wim Boekema and Frederike de Groot are responding to this growth market.

World of NIX has been around for exactly one year. With the alcohol-free liquor store formula, Wim Boekema (42) and Frederike de Groot (42) are responding to making the rapidly growing range of alcohol-free beers, wines, spirits and trendy elixirs available.

Because that availability, the entrepreneurs signal, is a problem. The demand is high and the quality high, but where do you get those tasty non-alcoholic drinks from? 'We jump into that gap. In our non-alcoholic liquor stores you can taste everything', says Boekema.
