  • A beautiful alcohol-free rosé from Leitz Eins Zwei Zero made from Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes, among others.
  • De Grote Hamersma gives this wine a 7.5
  • Alcohol free 0.0%
  • Low in sugar (4g sugar/100ml)
  • Low in calories (18 kcal/100 ml)

In the alcohol-free rosé from Leitz you will find both in the smell and the taste tones of rosehip, sour rhubarb and raspberry. A not too dominant sourness makes the rosé fresh. Leitz Rosé is made from three grape varieties: merlot, portugieser and pinot noir. Delicious with a salad, pasta or poultry from the BBQ.

Leitz makes alcohol-free wines that have the approval of wine experts Harold Hamersma and Pieter Nijdam. Deliciously fresh wines from their own vineyards. As Leitz itself indicates, the Rosé is an uplifting, harmonious summer wine. Very pleasant to pour again... and again, and again. That early sports class tomorrow? Or an important presentation? Have another glass.

In the picturesque town of Rüdesheim am Rhein, in the heart of the Rheingau, lies Weingut Leitz – a family business with a rich history dating back to 1744. After the devastation of the Second World War, the winery was rebuilt by Josef Leitz. In 1985, his grandson Johannes Leitz, aged just 21, took over and transformed the modest 2.9-hectare estate into an internationally renowned winery with around 130 hectares of vineyards, 40 hectares of which are owned by the estate.

The vineyards of Weingut Leitz are located on the steep, south-facing slopes of the Rüdesheimer Berg, with famous parcels such as Berg Schlossberg, Berg Roseneck, Berg Rottland and Berg Kaisersteinfels. These unique terroirs, consisting of quartzite and slate soils, give the wines their characteristic minerality and complexity.

Johannes Leitz is known for his dedication to quality and sustainability. He combines traditional winemaking methods with modern techniques, striving for minimal intervention to preserve the expression of the terroir. His philosophy is to let the wine develop its own character, with respect for nature and the environment.

The estate produces a wide range of wines, from the accessible "Eins-Zwei-Dry" Riesling to the prestigious "Großes Gewächs" wines from top vineyards. In addition, Weingut Leitz has developed a successful line of alcohol-free wines under the name "Eins-Zwei-Zero", which are appreciated worldwide.

Johannes Leitz’s dedication to excellence has not gone unnoticed. In 2011, he was named “Winzer des Jahres” by Gault Millau, and in 2019, the estate received the highest distinction of five bunches of grapes in both the Gault Millau and Eichelmann wine guides.

Weingut Leitz is a model of tradition, innovation and passion for winegrowing, offering wines that masterfully express the essence of the Rheingau.
