Saicho sparkling tea uses single origin tea that is picked by hand. There is simplicity and purity in the use of single origin tea. This gives the tea its own character.

Each individual tea is cold brewed for 24 hours to extract the most delicate and complex flavours. The tea is then balanced to the right sweetness and acidity. As a finishing touch, the bubble enhances the flavour of the tea. This is how Saicho's sparkling tea is created.

The Saicho Jasmine Sparkling Tea has won the prestigious 3-star Great Taste Award in 2023. This is a very select award, as only 1.8% of submitted products receive this high rating. The judges praised Saicho Jasmine for its "beautiful light color, an exceptional scent of jasmine, lychee and vanilla", and called the taste "unique and layered with fruity undertones and a creamy undercurrent of vanilla"
