Grilled chicken drumsticks with mango salsa
For 2 people. Juicy chicken drumsticks grilled to perfection and served with a refreshing mango salsa of fresh mango, red onion, coriander and lime juice. Matches well with the unique properties of the not wine Gnista Red French Style .

Ingredients
- 4 chicken legs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste For the Mango Salsa:
- 1 ripe mango
- 1/4 red onion
- A handful of fresh coriander, finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation method
- Marinating the Chicken Drumsticks: In a bowl, mix the olive oil, finely chopped garlic, paprika powder, cumin powder, salt and black pepper.
- Marinate the chicken drumsticks in this marinade, making sure they are well covered. Let them marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Preparing the Mango Salsa: Mix the mango cubes, finely chopped red onion, fresh coriander and lime juice in a bowl.
- Season the salsa with salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside to let the flavors mingle while you grill the chicken thighs.
- Grilling the Chicken Drumsticks: Preheat a grill pan or barbecue over medium heat.
- Place the marinated chicken thighs on the grill and grill for about 10-12 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and nicely grilled.
- Serving: Remove the grilled chicken thighs from the grill and place them on a serving platter.
- Serve the chicken drumsticks with the refreshing mango salsa on the side.
- Garnish with extra fresh coriander leaves if desired.
